About
Dr. Buckley brings a wealth of experience to her role, having worked extensively in both outpatient and inpatient settings for eating disorders services. Her background includes significant NHS experience in generic child and adolescent psychiatry, as well as a specific focus on eating disorders. Notably, she has developed and led a community eating disorders service for children and young people (CEDS-CYP).
As a parent herself, Dr. Buckley has a deep understanding of the complexities of childhood and adolescent development. She is passionate about identifying and addressing the root causes of mental health issues in young individuals, empowering them to lead healthy and fulfilling lives as they transition into adulthood.
Throughout her career, Dr. Buckley has championed the importance of early intervention in mental health care for children and adolescents. She believes that providing timely and tailored treatment during these formative years can significantly impact long-term outcomes and overall well-being. Dr. Buckley is dedicated to supporting young individuals and their families through personalised treatment approaches that address their unique needs and circumstances.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
