He also has international board accreditation in cardiac devices (CCDS). He maintains an active research portfolio with >100 publications and authorship of a book titled 'Cardiology at its Core’ which has been published internationally in 2023. Dr Patel currently sits on the Education Committee for British Cardiovascular Society (BCS) and lectures on cardiac rhythm management nationally and across Europe. He is also a medicolegal expert.
