About Dr Patrick Campbell

Dr Patrick Campbell is a consultant gynaecologist and subspecialist urogynaecologist based at Kingsbridge Private Hospital in Belfast. He specialises in the management of pelvic floor problems including prolapse, incontinence, bladder problems, vaginal laxity, and problems following childbirth. He offers a range of treatments including the latest surgical and non-surgical techniques. He is the only consultant in Northern Ireland offering vaginal surgery, keyhole surgery, and non-surgical radiofrequency treatments. Dr Campbell gained his medical qualifications from The Queen's University of Belfast in 2006. He spent 10 years training in Northern Ireland before undertaking subspecialty training in urogynaecology in Sheffield, under Professor Stephen Radley. He was only the second consultant in the UK to complete accredited training in both vaginal surgery and keyhole surgery for prolapse. Dr Campbell is actively involved in research and was the first gynaecologist in Northern Ireland to receive an Academic Clinical Fellowship at Queen's University. During this fellowship, he examined the use of Botox in the treatment of overactive bladder. Dr Campbell is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. He has also held committee positions with the International Urogynaecology Association and the British Society of Urogynaecology.

"Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions."
