His experience also extends to implanting advanced cardiac devices, including pacemakers, defibrillators such as the trasnvenous, sub-sutaneous or the extra vascular ICD, conduction system pacing (CSP), and cardiac resynchronization therapy devices (CRT-P/D).
Dr. Barman has extensive experience in ablations and device procedures to date, reflecting his expertise and precision in electrophysiology with excellent outcomes and safety. In addition to his clinical work, he also participates in multi-disciplinary meetings, journal clubs and national and international conferences.
He holds an honorary senior clinical lectureship with the University of Bristol, where he completed his PhD Fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology, funded by the British Heart Foundation. His contributions to the field of electrophysiology make him a leader in the investigation and management of cardiac arrhythmias, as well as in the implantation and extraction of cardiac devices.
