In his current clinical practice, he specialises in a wide range of adult cardiac surgery procedures, including: total arterial revascularisation, mitral valve repair, off-pump/beating-heart coronary revascularisation and atrial fibrillation surgery. He also offers consultations for heart bypass surgery, coronary artery disease treatment, aortic root replacement and aortic valve replacement surgery.
Mr Nwaejike's dedication to advancing medical knowledge is evidenced by his extensive research portfolio, encompassing numerous published research papers and presentations at both national and international conferences. In addition to his clinical roles, Mr Nwaejike serves as the Trust Specialty Training Lead in cardiac surgery and transplantation at Wythenshawe Hospital within the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) and is a member of the Northwest Cardiothoracic Surgery Training Committee.
