Dieses ist eine Basisvorraussetzung für die Spezialisierung in jedem chirurgischen Fach.

Die Leidenschaft von Dr. Duckstein galt hier aber schon immer der Plastischen, Rekonstruktiven und Ästhetischen Chirurgie. Um ihr spezielles Fachwissen weiter zu vertiefen, absolvierte sie eine spezialisierte Ausbildung an dem renommierten Schön Klinikum Neustadt in der Abteilung für Hand-, Brust- und Plastischen Chirurgie unter der Anleitung von Prof. Hoch. Hier nahm sie aktiv an verschiedensten Plastisch Chirurgischen Eingriffen teil sowie Brustrekonstruktionen nach Brusterkrankungen, aber auch ästhetischen Schönheitsoperationen teil. Die Schönklinik war Teil des Brustzentrums Holstein.

Die Fachärztin Dr. Duckstein hat an zahlreichen nationalen und internationalen Fortbildungskursen, Praktika bei führenden Chirurgen, Kongressen und Konferenzen teilgenommen. Als Oberärztin war sie bis 2013 tätig und es lag ihr Schwerpunkt auf körperformenden Verfahren wie Bruststraffungen, -verkleinerungen und -vergrößerungen sowie Bauchdeckenstraffungen. Sie zeichnet sich auch mit der kompletten Modernen Pallette in nicht-chirurgischen Behandlungen mit Botox und Hyaluronsäure aus, einschließlich innovativer Anwendungen wie der Migräne- und Depressionstherapie mit Botox, Nasenkorrekturen mit Hyaluronsäure (ohne OP).

Dr. Nina Duckstein engagierte sich leidenschaftlich für die medizinische Ausbildung und hat aktiv zur Ausbildung zahlreicher Medizinstudenten und -praktikanten der Universität Lübeck beigetragen.
