His clinical expertise spans the diagnosis and management of heart failure, arrhythmias, and genetic heart disorders, as well as the use advanced cardiac imaging techniques, including echocardiography, CT coronary angiography and cardiac MRI.

With a strong academic foundation, Dr. Lewis earned a PhD from the University of Leeds in Heart Failure and Exercise Physiology, supported by a British Heart Foundation Fellowship exploring the effects of pregnancy and obesity on the cardiovascular system. In recognition of his contributions to medicine, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (FRCP Edin) in 2015.
