Dr Marchbank is a highly experienced Radiologist.
Dr Marchbank trained at many centres of excellence including the Royal Marsden Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Royal Brompton Hospital. They are heavily involved in providing imaging support to patients in many Cancer Research trials. Dr Marchbank was appointed as Medical Director of the Sussex Cancer Network in April 2003, an organisation that coordinates planning and delivery of cancer services across Sussex.
Dr Marchbank sits on many committees including the Cancer Advisory Board, responsible for planning and delivering cancer services nationally. In 2008, they were an advisor to the Swedish government when they wrote their Cancer Plan.
Outside work, Dr Marchbank is a keen tennis player and golfer. They enjoy watching football and rugby, play the piano, enjoy mountain biking and are a member of the Glyndebourne Festival Society.
