Dr. Muhammad Riaz Khan is the Head of Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) in Abu Dhabi. With over two decades of experience in the surgical treatment of burns and other complex plastic surgery cases, Dr. Khan received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Khyber Medical University in Pakistan.
Before assuming his current role, he served as a consultant and previous chair of the Department of Plastic Surgery at SSMC and also worked as a consultant plastic surgeon at Mafraq Hospital. Dr. Khan is a member of the Emirates Medical Association (EMA), the Emirates Society of Plastic Surgery (ESPS), and the European Association of Specialists, and he is certified by the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS).
Dr. Khan offers a wide range of surgical treatments, including hand surgery, trauma and microvascular surgery, cleft lip/palate surgery, cosmetic surgery, liposuction, tummy tuck, breast surgery, rhinoplasty, facelift, fat injection, upper and lower body lift, prominent ear correction, and post-cancer breast reconstruction. His extensive expertise and commitment to excellence make him a trusted leader in aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery.
