Laura was born in Asia and decided to stay in touch with her roots through developing her skills in Traditional Chinese Medicine and martial arts. Laura's goal has always been to inspire and encourage people to take an active role in developing their qi (functional energy). Laura believes that people need to work on their qi in order to improve their daily quality of life.

Laura obtained a Masters Degree in Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture) from South Bank and subsequently spent six months at Heilongjiang University, China, where she continued to refine her understanding of her speciality.

Laura has over sixteen years of experience as a taiji and qigong teacher in London. She teaches both qigong classes and one-to-one sessions at her studio at Breathe in London. Laura has worked hard on developing a practice that incorporates the yang sheng (life nourishing) aspect of exercise whilst incorporating a more hands on approach of tuina (Chinese massage) and the powerful yet subtle techniques of traditional Chinese acupuncture.

Laura specialises in Acupuncture for a wide range of conditions including musculo-skeletal problems, pain relief, stress, gynaecological problems and anxiety and emotional issues.
