Over
Ms Jhumur Pati, Consultant Urologist, currently works within the Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Barts Health NHS Trust. She is highly specialised in all aspects of general urology, as well as urological oncology. She is one of a few female surgeons that have been designated a pelvic cancer surgeon within the Northeast London region. She can also help with issues of male infertility.
Ms Pati graduated with her undergraduate degree in 1986 with a BSc in Medicine and Surgery. She undertook specialist training in urology and surgery, before being made a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, England. She was awarded her specialist urology degree – FRCS(Uro) - in 2001. Within her current position, she is the Lead for Urological Oncology within her Trust.
Ms Pati is also an active member of the research community, regularly participating in research focusing on bladder and prostate cancer. She also actively contributes to medical education by holding the position of Educational and Clinical supervisor.
