He has extensive surgical experience in hysterectomy procedures, including open and laparoscopic approaches, and expertise in the early detection of gynaecological cancers.
Mr Yousef trained and worked in Egypt before completing specialist training at The Royal Surrey County Hospital, where he gained significant experience managing patients with chronic pelvic pain and endometriosis. Since joining Eastbourne District General Hospital in 2011, he has led the development of the Gynaecology Treatment Suite, enabling more patients to be treated in an outpatient setting.
Alongside his clinical practice, Mr Yousef contributes to education and training. He teaches hysteroscopy at both national and international level and is a recognised national trainer in outpatient operative hysteroscopy.
