During this time, he trained at both The Royal Centre for Defence Medicine at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and Birmingham Children's Hospital (one of four national craniofacial surgery centres).

Mr Bayoumi also works at Tameside General Hospital, where he is a core member of the skin cancer MDT team, treating both benign and malignant head and neck skin conditions.
