Mr Satyesh Parmar is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon specialising in Head & Neck Surgery at The Harborne Hospital and The Priory Hospital. He completed his dental education at the University of Leeds, School of Dentistry in 1986, where he received prizes in Oral Surgery, Children's Dentistry, and Prosthetics. Subsequently, he was awarded the Fellowship in Dentistry of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1990. Transitioning to medical studies, Mr Parmar pursued his medical degree at the University of Nottingham, graduating in Medicine in 1995. His academic achievements include winning the Gold Medal for the best Medical student of the year and the Marsden Prize for outstanding contribution to the university.
Mr Parmar later became a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons in 1998 and a Fellow in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2002. In 2003, he assumed the role of an Oral and Maxillofacial/Head and Neck/Reconstructive Surgeon at the University Hospital of Birmingham.
In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Parmar is actively engaged in teaching dental and medical students, as well as general medical and dental practitioners. He is also involved in training aspiring Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, organising and instructing on various courses to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field.
Mr Parmar later became a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons in 1998 and a Fellow in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2002. In 2003, he assumed the role of an Oral and Maxillofacial/Head and Neck/Reconstructive Surgeon at the University Hospital of Birmingham.
In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Parmar is actively engaged in teaching dental and medical students, as well as general medical and dental practitioners. He is also involved in training aspiring Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, organising and instructing on various courses to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field.
