During this time, he undertook research into Human Papillomavirus (HPV) and its association with cervical cancer, further refining his expertise in the management and treatment of gynaecological cancers.
After training in Cardiff, Mr Peevor moved to North Wales to contribute to the development of cancer services in the region. He performs major gynaecological surgery and, together with colleagues in Cardiff, has established one of the largest groups of laparoscopic hysterectomy cases in Wales. His clinical practice also covers subfertility, menstrual disorders, endometriosis, prolapse, menopause, post-menopausal issues, and a wide range of general gynaecological conditions. He routinely performs procedures including colposcopy, hysteroscopy, hysterectomy, endometrial ablation, ovarian cyst removal, vaginal repair operations, dilatation and curettage, and laparoscopic surgery.
