Mr Pablo Martinez-Devesa is a Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon with specialist expertise in otology, rhinology, and anterior skull base surgery.
He completed his early surgical training in London at the Royal National ENT Hospital and in Cambridge at Addenbrooke's Hospital before undertaking higher specialist ENT training in Oxford.
Between 2004 and 2006, he completed advanced subspecialty fellowships and training in otology, rhinology, and skull base surgery across several internationally recognised centres in Europe and the United States, including institutions in Denmark, Austria, the Netherlands, France, and the USA.
Mr Martinez-Devesa was appointed Consultant ENT Surgeon in Oxford in 2007 and has since developed extensive experience in complex ear surgery, advanced sinus surgery, and anterior skull base procedures. His surgical practice includes management of chronic ear disease, hearing disorders, complex rhinological conditions, endoscopic sinus surgery, and skull base pathology.
Since 2010, he has been a core member of multidisciplinary skull base, craniofacial trauma, and rhino-orbital teams in Oxford, contributing to the management of highly complex ENT and skull base conditions through collaborative specialist care.
Alongside his clinical work, he is heavily involved in surgical education and training, mentoring junior surgeons and fellows through the Oxford Specialist Training Programme. He also teaches nationally and internationally in endoscopic sinus surgery and anterior skull base surgery.
Mr Martinez-Devesa remains active in clinical research and academic publishing, with numerous scientific publications and contributions to medical textbooks. He is a member of ENT UK as well as British rhinology and otology specialist societies.
