Mr Md Faizul Hassan is a Consultant Spinal Neurosurgeon. Mr Hassan graduated from Dhaka Medical College in Bangladesh and completed his basic surgical and neurosurgical training in Dhaka. He later emigrated to the UK to complete his MRCS. He secured a place on the National Neurosurgery Training Programme in the Northern Deanery, subsequently completing his FRCS Neurosurgery Degree. Mr Hassan also completed a one-year Orthopaedic Spinal Fellowship at Newcastle upon Tyne's Royal Victoria Infirmary.
Mr Hassan has a keen interest in cervical spine conditions, intradural tumours, metastatic spinal cord tumours and minimally invasive spinal neurosurgery. He has published articles in international journals and presented papers at national and international conferences.
