About
Mr Harris qualified with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) from the University of Bristol in 1999. He went on to complete his basic surgical training in the South West region, before undertaking higher specialist training in urology within the Wessex Deanery. He further advanced his academic interests by completing a Doctor of Medicine (MD), focusing on the psychological burden of prostate cancer, reflecting his holistic approach to patient care.
In addition to his clinical role, Mr Harris is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Southampton, where he contributes to teaching and training the next generation of medical professionals.
His clinical practice includes the management of benign prostate conditions, prostate artery embolisation (PAE), bladder and kidney stones, and groin and scrotal swellings. He is known for combining technical expertise with a patient-centred approach.
Outside of work, Mr Harris enjoys cycling around the Meon Valley and playing golf, maintaining a balanced and active lifestyle.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
