Mr. Van Liefland’s orthopaedic training included posts in Cardiff, Swansea, and North Wales, followed by two years on the Oswestry Rotation, where he focused on Upper Limb Surgery. He also gained additional experience at the Wrightington Upper Limb Unit and the Pulvertaft Hand Unit in Derby. Since becoming a Consultant in 2007 at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry, Mr. Van Liefland has built a reputation for excellence in shoulder, elbow, and hand surgeries.
He offers a full spectrum of open and keyhole procedures, including shoulder decompression for impingement, rotator cuff repair, total shoulder and elbow joint replacement, tennis elbow surgery, collagenase injections, and surgery for Dupuytren's disease, carpal tunnel decompression, trigger finger release, and nerve decompressions.
