Mr Harshawardhan Godbole is a Consultant Urological and Laparoscopic Surgeon who qualified in 1990. He did his urological training and then worked at the Bristol Urological Institute, City Hospital Belfast, Oxford Churchill Hospital and Guy's & St Thomas Hospital. He is a NHS consultant at NorthMiddlesex University Hospital, London since 2004.
Mr Godbole is the clinical services lead and education lead for the Department of Urology at the North Middelsex University Hospital. He is a trainer and has Specialist registrars, senior house officers, foundation trainees and medical students rotating through his unit. He is also an associate professor at the St George's University, Grenada.
Along with laparoscopic surgery, his other sub-speciality interests include benign and malignant disease of the kidney, bladder and prostate gland, incontinence, male infertility and sexual dysfunction and urinary stone management.
Mr Godbole was instrumental in offering endoscopic and laparoscopic urological services in The District General Hospital in Thane, Maharashtra, India, as a charity project, where he has successfully offered services in the previous years. He is currently a visiting consultant at RG Medical College, Thane, Maharashtra India.
Mr Godbole has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at both national and international urological conferences.
