Mr Guy Paremain
Orthopaedic Surgery
About
He is a back specialist based in Guildford.
He trained at St Georges Hospital in London and the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
In 1998 he was appointed to his post at the Royal Surrey County Hospital.
He retains an interest in many aspects of Orthopaedics but has increasingly specialised in the management of problems affecting the lower back.
He continues to run a busy NHS practice in Guildford where he works in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team of professionals.
The majority of the patients that he sees do not require spinal surgery yet he performs on average two hundred spinal operations each year.
His other main surgical interest is the management of elderly patients with arthritis of the Hip joint.
