During this time, Mr Chattopdhyay joined the speciality training rotation where he trained in all aspects of general surgery. It was during this time that he developed his interest in benign upper GI surgery.
In 2015, Mr Chattopadhyay became a Consultant at Bedford Hospital and joined the Manor Hospital in 2016. Outside of his clinical work he is also a keen trainer for surgical trainees and is an educational and clinical supervisor.
Outside of the hospital, MR Chattopadhyay enjoys amateur photography with nature as his favourite subject.
