About
After completing his general surgical training, Mr Johnson became a Welcome Clinical Training Fellow at the Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine in Oxford, where he conducted three years of full-time research on the molecular biology of craniosynostosis and the genetics of congenital hand anomalies. He earned his Doctor of Medicine Degree from Oxford University and has since authored numerous publications and delivered international presentations. His groundbreaking research was recognized by The Royal College of Surgeons of England, which awarded him a Hunterian Professorship in 2001.
Mr Johnson completed his plastic surgery training at Mount Vernon Hospital, Salisbury District Hospital, and the Radcliffe Infirmary at Oxford. He then spent one year as a senior Craniofacial Fellow at The Australian Craniofacial Unit in Adelaide before joining the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as a Consultant in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Craniofacial Surgery in 2006.
Mr Johnson specialises in cosmetic surgery, including facelift and eyelid surgery, pinnaplasty, rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, uplift and reduction, male breast reduction, tummy tuck, body contouring, and lesion and mole excision.
