As an education ambassador, Mr Kulkarni has undertaken prolific roles such as Editor in Chief for a web based orthopaedic Wikipaedics project, Education Committee Member of the British Orthopaedic Association. He was also a pioneer of UKITE, now, a mandatory annual assessment programme for registrars, developed to improve quality.
Outside of medicine, Ash enjoys spending quality time with his family, dog walking and hiking (sometimes all at once). He is a real foodie – and enjoys both cooking and eating. He has
a penchant for full-bodied red wines and enjoys spending time out on his
