He has been actively contributing to the field as a member of the National ECT Accreditation Committee and serving as an External Clinical Advisor for Mental Health at the Parliamentary Health Service Ombudsmen. Currently, Dr. Gondhalekar holds the position of Consultant Psychiatrist at the North-East London Foundation NHS Trust within Community Old Age Psychiatry.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Gondhalekar has been involved in academic activities, serving as an Academic Tutor at the University of Birmingham, School of Medicine. His dedication to education extends to supervising Medical Students in their 3rd, 4th, and 5th years.
