About
Dr. Mohamed graduated from Alexandria University, Egypt, where he earned his MBBCH degree in medicine in 2002. Following his medical degree, he completed training and specialisation in esteemed medical institutions, including Alexandria, Ain Shams, and Cairo University Hospitals. This extensive training allowed him to acquire a comprehensive understanding of ophthalmological practices and techniques.
In 2006, Dr. Mohamed's professional journey led him to Dar Al Oyoun hospitals and centers in Cairo, recognized as a center of excellence and scientific research in the Middle East's field of ophthalmology. He further honed his skills and knowledge, ultimately obtaining his master's degree from Ain Shams University in 2011.
In 2014, Dr. Mohamed became a phacoemulsification trainer in collaboration with the University of Saarland, Germany, showcasing his commitment to staying at the forefront of advanced ophthalmological procedures. Dr. Mohamed's dedication to excellence in the field of ophthalmology has earned him prestigious recognition, including the Fellowship of the International Council of Ophthalmology and the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Mohamed has actively participated in community development initiatives. He has been associated with local and international organisations, such as the Africa and the Middle East Refugee Aid Organization (AMERA), operating under the umbrella of the World Health Organization (WHO). In these roles, he has provided medical consultations and performed numerous cataract and retinal surgeries, contributing to the well-being of individuals in need.
