Miss Shamim Umarji is a highly respected Consultant Orthopaedic Hand and Wrist Surgeon whose practice is dedicated exclusively to conditions affecting the hand and wrist. She has active research interests in Dupuytren’s disease, the use of virtual reality in wide-awake surgery, and the clinical applications of platelet-rich plasma (PRP).
With a background as a former national-level cricketer and rugby player, she brings a unique perspective to the management of sports-related injuries, understanding first-hand the physical and emotional impact they can have on athletes.
