She was instrumental in the establishment of Northwick Park Hospital's new Gynaecology Direct Referral unit, where women with early pregnancy problems, emergency gynaecology problems (such as pelvic pain and very heavy menstrual bleeding) would be able to walk in, have their problems resolved with surgery if necessary, and be discharged home as soon as possible, resulting in a better patient experience.
