Professor Claire Hopkins, Consultant Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon with a clinical interest in skull base surgery, sinus disease, allergies, and structural nasal deformity. She graduated from Oxford University Medical School with a First Class Degree in Physiology and Distinction on Medicine before moving to London to complete an extensive rotational scheme in her chosen career of ENT. She undertook a Fellowship at Guys' and St Thomas' in Advanced Rhinology and was appointed Consultant and remains there today. She undertakes surgery across all aspects of nose and sinus conditions, and recieves referrals from consultant colleagues across the UK.

She is committed to providing a first-class service and improving patient outcomes, refected in holding a National Clinical Excellence Award and being rated amongst Britain's Top Doctors by Tatler. She has written international guidelines on the management of sinusitis and nasal polyps, including the European Position Paper on Sinusitis and Nasal Polyps, a patient guide on sinusitis and the UK Commissioning Guide for Sinusitis. Her expertise has led her to lecture at an international level, along with teaching on the faculty of sinus surgery, anterior skull base surgery and other courses. She is the current Secretary General of the European Rhinological Society and past-President of the British Rhinological Society, International symposium of inflammation and allergy in the nose and the Royal Society of Medicine's ENT section.

Professor Hopkins is heavily involved in research and has been appointed as Professor of Rhinology at King's College London. She has publsihed over 300 peer reviewed papers is rated as one of the most highly cited ENT surgeons in the world by ScholarGPS and the Stanford rankings of top scientists. She is rated by Expertscape as the leading global expert in paranasal sinus disease.
