About Dr Michael John Henderson
Dr Michael John Henderson qualified in medicine with an MB ChB from the University of Birmingham in 1981. Following this, they worked as a junior doctor in Birmingham and gained their MRCP(UK) diploma in medicine in 1984.
Dr Henderson commenced training in radiology at Nottingham University Hospital in 1985, obtaining the FRCR diploma in 1989. In 1990, Dr Henderson worked at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, as a Cook Interventional Fellow awarded by the Royal College of Radiologists.
Dr Henderson was appointed as a consultant radiologist in 1992. They were later appointed as lead interventional radiologist and became lead in head and neck and ENT imaging and neuroradiology. In 2013, they withdrew from interventional radiology to concentrate on leading in head and neck and neuroradiology, including spinal imaging, but continue with non-invasive vascular imaging.
