Her clinical practice includes the assessment and management of eyelid disorders, orbital conditions, and acute ophthalmic presentations. She manages a range of conditions including thyroid eye disease, periocular abnormalities, and urgent eye conditions requiring specialist care. She is involved in both surgical and non-surgical management within her subspecialty areas.
Miss Clarke is actively engaged in clinical research, with a particular focus on thyroid eye disease, and has contributed to several published book chapters. She maintains ongoing professional development through participation in specialist training and professional organisations.
She is involved in medical education and regularly delivers teaching to doctors, optometrists, and allied health professionals. This includes Local Optical Committee lectures, GP education sessions, and international subspecialty teaching programmes. She also contributes to undergraduate medical education and is involved in supervising trainee ophthalmologists through structured fellowship training.
