Luciane Alberto is an experienced osteopath. She initially graduated as a physiotherapist in Brazil and began her career working for volleyball teams. It was during this time that she realised the importance of osteopathic techniques in the treatment of injured players, sparking her desire to go on to study in the field.
In 2013 she completed her osteopathy training at the Brazilian Institute of Osteopathy (IBO). From 2013 to 2016, she became part of the board of the Brazilian Registry of Osteopaths (RBrO), which seeks recognition of the osteopathic profession in the country.
In 2016 Luciane moved to England. Once in the UK she undertook 2 further years of osteopathy training. In July 2018, she became an English Osteopath, graduating from the London School of Osteopathy (LSO). In addition to her clinical work, she also works as a Clinical Tutor at the University College of Osteopathy (UCO), formerly known by the British School of Osteopathy (BSO).
