Over

Linda Mills is an accomplished acupuncturist, Chinese herbalist, Shiatsu and Tui Na practitioner with a rich background in traditional healing methods. She began her training in 1995, graduating in 1998 from the Ki Kai Shiatsu Centre in a comprehensive three-year program that combined Shiatsu massage, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and counselling.
In addition to her foundational training, Linda has further developed her expertise by attending Suzanne Yates' one-year Pregnancy, Birth, and Baby Shiatsu course. This unique qualification allows her to support women during fertility and pregnancy, and she also trains birth partners in Shiatsu techniques for pain relief, offering a detailed Third Trimester Pregnancy Pack to help prepare for childbirth.
Linda's qualifications also include a degree in Western Medicine, Therapeutic Relationships, Research, and Acupuncture, which she completed in 2016. Her research dissertation focused on acupuncture points in Shiatsu and their beneficial effects on autistic children. This led to her development of specialised work with autistic centres, where she researched the positive effects of massage on wound healing and the immune system.
In 2020, Linda completed her Masters in Chinese Herbs at the University of Westminster, further expanding her expertise in stroke rehabilitation. She tailored her Chinese herbal dissertation to focus on the use of herbs for skin healing and wound recovery, particularly in stroke survivors.
Throughout her career, Linda has gained extensive experience in a variety of areas, including menstrual disorders, menopause, pregnancy, postnatal care, paediatrics, and autism. She also offers support for stroke survivors, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's patients, cancer, and skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema. Additionally, she works with individuals in drug rehabilitation, and those struggling with mental health issues like anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress, helping them learn to live with challenges such as hearing voices. Her expertise extends to treating headaches, migraines, allergies, asthma, and musculoskeletal injuries and pain.

“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”

— Mrs Linda Mills
