About
Progressing to higher surgical training in vascular surgery, Mr Meecham trained in some of the UK's highest volume units, specialising in complex vascular surgery. His affiliation with the vascular surgical department of the University of Birmingham provided a robust foundation for surgical research, resulting in numerous publications and presentations at national and international conferences.
Returning to Wales, Mr Meecham now serves as a consultant in vascular surgery at the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, where he performs a wide range of vascular procedures, including minimally invasive varicose vein treatments.
Mr Meecham has specialist expertise in endothermal ablation of varicose veins, ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy, abdominal aortic aneurysm, peripheral arterial disease, and thoracic outlet syndrome. He also has expertise in vein surgery.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
