About Ms Leah Anthony
Leah Anthony is a Specialist Diabetes Nurse at The London Diabetes Centre. Leah has several years of experience managing diabetes cases in children, young people and adults. She qualified in paediatric nursing at Northumbria University in 2013 and completed her Master's degree in Practice Development from the same university in 2017. Leah has experience working in large and busy clinical environments having worked in the adult diabetes team at Luton and Dunstable Hospital as well as part of the paediatric diabetes team at Barts Health NHS Trust in London. Leah has particular interest in the use of modern technology in the treatment and management of diabetes and its associated issues. Examples of this include the use of hybrid closed looped systems and how it can positively impact diabetes management and diabetes-related psychological health issues. She also has expertise in the production of medicolegal reports and has acted as an expert witness.
