Krupa Mistry is a highly skilled and dedicated Optometrist with nearly a decade of experience in the field. Currently enrolled in the Doctor of Optometry program at Aston University, she has studied modules in Myopia and Refractive Surgery, and has earned professional certificates in Independent Prescribing, Glaucoma, and Paediatrics. She is currently undertaking her doctoral research work in a rare disease that can effect the cornea called Cystinosis.
Her dedication to the field has been widely recognised, including being named a finalist in the ‘Clinical Leader of the Future’ category at the Optician Awards 2023. She has written and presented educational training (known as CPD) for Optometrists in the UK. Additionally, she has served as a committee member on the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Optical Committee, demonstrating her commitment to advancing the profession and supporting her peers.
