About
They have experience working in Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) settings, providing assessment and support to families experiencing a range of difficulties. They have also worked within the NHS, delivering mental health services for children in both primary and secondary schools. This has involved working directly with families and groups of children, as well as providing support and training to teachers.
Dr Rocha is particularly interested in parenting and enjoys working with parents to better understand and manage their children's behaviours and emotions in a way that benefits the whole family. They primarily use Systemic and Cognitive Behavioural approaches with families and always works collaboratively alongside their clients.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
