He undertook his medical degree at Charité University, Academic Clinic Center, Klinikum Frankfurt (Germany). Since then he has undertaken a vast amount of additional training including masters degrees in advanced orthopaedics and trauma surgery, a PhD in the area of knee arthroplasty and various ultrasound imaging courses.
