About Dr Justus Dirks
Dr Justus Dirks is a highly experienced dentist and facial aesthetics practitioner with a unique background that combines clinical expertise with a deep understanding of human physiology. Originally from Barberton, South Africa, a picturesque mountain village near the Kruger National Park, Dr Dirks began his academic journey at the University of Pretoria, where he completed a BSc in Microbiology, a BSc (Hons) in Physiology, and a Master’s degree in Physiology under the Department of Biochemistry, before qualifying as a Dentist (BChD). With a passion for comprehensive patient care, Dr Dirks views dentistry and facial aesthetics as complementary disciplines—both essential in promoting confidence, wellbeing, and holistic health. He began his training in facial aesthetics in 2003 and advanced into implant dentistry in 2005, training at the world-renowned Malo Clinic in Lisbon. He further honed his skills under international leaders Dr Tidu Mankoo and Dr Ashok Sethi in London and pursued advanced cosmetic treatment training at the California Center for Advanced Dental Studies. At The Ackerman Clinic, Dr Dirks works closely with surgeons to provide complex prosthodontic and full-mouth implant rehabilitation solutions, ensuring functional precision and aesthetic excellence. Dedicated to continuous learning, Dr Dirks stays at the forefront of advancements in implantology, cosmetic dentistry, and facial rejuvenation, offering his patients modern, integrated solutions for both oral health and aesthetic enhancement.
