Dr John Beard
General Practice (GP)
About
Dr. Beard studied medicine at the University of Birmingham, earning his MB ChB in 2005. He completed his postgraduate training in Oxford before relocating to Bristol, where he began working as an NHS GP. He enjoys all areas of medicine, with particular expertise in dermatology, joint injections, paediatrics, and occupational health.
In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Beard has a keen interest in the history of medicine, and he has delivered several lectures on the subject. While he now primarily works within the NHS, he continues to visit the practice to perform ENG1 Seafarer Medicals and OGUK Medicals. His broad expertise and commitment to patient care make him a valuable asset to the medical community.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
