About Dr Jo Stuart
Dr Jo Stuart is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and the founder of Hampstead Psychology. With over 20 years’ experience, she works with a wide range of psychological difficulties, with particular expertise in anxiety disorders, including phobias, panic, health anxiety, generalised anxiety, OCD, trauma, and related difficulties. Dr Jo has a specialist interest in supporting people who are balancing demanding professional and personal lives, as well as people in the LGBTQ+ community. Many of her clients are founders, executives, consultants, creatives, and people in the public eye who carry high expectations, sustained pressure, and limited time and space to focus on their own wellbeing. Therapy offers a confidential place to slow things down, make sense of what’s happening, and build practical, lasting change. Her approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and tailored, drawing on evidence-based psychological therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, and Compassion Focused Therapy.
