About
Dr Jeyakumar graduated from Monash University in 2013. They completed their internship and Basic Physician Training through Monash Health in 2018. Dr Jeyakumar proceeded to accept a four-year dual training position in Respiratory and General Medicine through both Monash Lung & Sleep and Latrobe Regional Hospital, receiving Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2020. They have completed post-fellowship training in Acute & General Medicine (LRH) and a 12-month Sleep & Ventilation Fellowship (Monash Health).
Dr Jeyakumar has been awarded numerous prizes through their training, including Monash Health's John Burgess Prize for Clinical Excellence as a Medical Registrar.
Outside of medicine, Dr Jeyakumar enjoys spending time with their wife, Anisha, and spoodle, Ella. They are a sports fanatic, supporting the Brisbane Lions, Liverpool FC, and New Zealand cricket and rugby teams.
