Mr Greg Taylor

About
Mr Taylor completed his surgical training in general and colorectal surgery in Leeds, London and Swansea. Alongside his clinical training, he developed a strong interest in clinical research and emerging surgical technologies. He was appointed as a National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Clinical Lecturer and has completed a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Leeds, with research focusing on innovative surgical technologies.
He later moved to Swansea to undertake senior clinical fellowships in laparoscopic surgery and advanced pelvic malignancy before being appointed Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon in 2017. His specialist interests include minimally invasive colorectal surgery, early rectal cancer, hernia surgery and complex abdominal wall reconstruction.
Mr Taylor is the nominated colorectal surgeon for the Swansea Endometriosis Multidisciplinary Team (MDT). He also holds the position of Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Swansea University.
