He also holds a qualification in Medical Education from the University of Warwick and is involved in the training of junior doctors and medical students.
Dr Dimitropoulos was appointed Consultant in Cardiology and Electrophysiology at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital in 2021, where he led the ventricular arrhythmia ablation service and ran a dedicated ventricular tachycardia clinic.
As of January 2026, he has been appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at the University Hopsital of Bristol Royal Infirmary, where he currently practices.
He also holds honorary consultant roles with University Hospitals in Plymouth and Brighton, where he performs complex electrophysiology procedures.
