George Tsermoulas has been a Neurosurgeon at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham since February 2017 and he is also an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Birmingham. He has a wide scope of practice within adult neurosurgery. His specialist clinical interests are disorders of cerebrospinal fluid, like hydrocephalus, Chiari malformation and syringomyelia; surgery for brain and skull base tumours, like meningiomas; and endoscopic pituitary surgery.
In addition to his clinical work, he has a master's degree in Clinical Research from Newcastle University and is involved with clinical trials. He also has a postgraduate certificate in Global Health from the University of Toronto and is involved with humanitarian work oversees.
He currently, practises privately at Harborne Hospital (part of HCA Healthcare UK).
