Mr Pafitanis has trained in some of the most prestigious microsurgical fellowships in Taiwan, Tokyo-Japan, Seoul-Korea and NHS St.Thomas in London, and, further refined his skillset in aesthetic surgery at The London Clinic and Stockholm-Sweden.

He maintains strong academic practice and he published a microsurgical textbook. He has published over 100 scientific articles, presented his work internationally and received several prestigious awards in microsurgery, such as the Robert Zhong award (2016), the ESPRAS Fellow (2019) and EURAPS Young Plastic Surgeon (2021).
Mr Pafitanis is listed on the GMC specialist register and is a full member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS).
