About Dr Dr. med. Philipp Faul
Dr. med. Philipp Faul ist Chefarzt der Klinik für Rettungs- und Notfallmedizin (ZNM) sowie Ärztlicher Leiter Notarztstandort - Luftrettungszentrum Christoph 2 und NEF 1 an der BG Unfallklinik Frankfurt am Main. Zudem ist er Ärztlicher Leiter des Notarzteinsatzfahrzeugs (NEF Akkon 2), Wetterau (Standort Bad Nauheim) und übernimmt seit 2023 als Leitender Notarzt für Frankfurt und Offenbach am Main eine zentrale Rolle in der Notfallversorgung der beiden Städte ein. Er ist Facharzt für Orthopädie und Unfallchirurgie mit den Zusatzbezeichnungen Leitender Notarzt, Klinische Akut- und Notfallmedizin sowie Notfallmedizin. Darüber hinaus hat er Qualifikationen als „Telenotarzt“ und zertifizierter Prüfarzt, EPALS-Provider, ATLS-Provider, in „Luftrettung“ und „Intensivtransport nach DIVI-Richtlinien“. Sein Staatsexamen absolvierte Faul an der Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz und startete im Anschluss seine Assistenz- und Facharztausbildung an der BG Unfallklinik Frankfurt am Main. 2018 promovierte er zu „Mechanismen der Habituation mechanisch induzierter Schmerzreize“ an der Neurologische Klinik der Universitätsmedizin Mainz.
