About
Dr. Ojaimi earned his medical degree from the University of Melbourne before completing his general ophthalmology training at Sydney Eye Hospital. He then undertook extensive subspecialist training in retinal surgery both in Australia and overseas, refining his skills in advanced vitreoretinal procedures.
His surgical expertise includes complex cataract surgery and vitreoretinal operations for conditions such as macular holes, epiretinal membranes, and vitreomacular traction syndrome. He is also highly experienced in managing retinal tears, retinal detachment, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and retinal vein occlusions. He also is very involved in education of new doctors and has a passion for teaching medical students from Monash and Melbourne medical schools.
Since beginning private practice in 2010, Dr. Ojaimi has been committed to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care while advancing surgical techniques and sharing his knowledge through teaching and mentorship.
