Ms Vera Martins is a Naturopath and Herbalist with a passion for holistic, natural medicine.
Ms Martins completed a Masters at the University of Lisbon and went on to achieve a PhD from Queen Mary University of London. She also undertook research at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Blizard Institute, Barts and The London QMUL. She now works at the Institute of Cancer Research at The Royal Marsden Hospital where she performs essential research into breast cancer.
Ms Martins trained in Naturopathy and Herbal Medicine at The College of Naturopathic Medicine in London and she joined the Marion Gluck Clinic in 2018 where she works to support patients on their courses of bio-identical hormone treatment. She does this by focusing on nutrition, supplementation and lifestyle advice tailored to the individual patient.
In her free time, Ms Martins volunteers at St Joseph's Hospice as a Reiki practitioner. She also enjoys travelling and spending time with her family.
