Dr Susan Lalondrelle is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist specialising in the management of gynaecological and skin cancers, with expertise across radiotherapy, chemotherapy, brachytherapy, and biological therapies. She is committed to delivering highly personalised, evidence-based cancer care, using advanced radiotherapy techniques to improve precision and minimise side effects.
Dr Lalondrelle graduated in Medicine from the University of Southampton in 1998 before completing her specialist oncology training at The Royal Marsden Hospital and across the South West Thames region. She became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2002 and a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in 2006. In 2008, she was awarded a Clinical Fellowship at The Institute of Cancer Research, where her pioneering research on advanced radiotherapy technologies for pelvic tumours earned international recognition and the prestigious Sylvia Lawler Prize from the Royal Society of Medicine.
Actively engaged in ongoing research, Dr Lalondrelle’s interests include intensity-modulated and image-guided radiotherapy, adaptive planning, and the integration of biological agents with radiotherapy. Alongside her clinical practice, she plays a key role in education as Module Leader for the MSc Oncology course at The Institute of Cancer Research and as an Educational Supervisor for oncology trainees.
